Just wanted to let you all know that I'm away from today for a long weekend in the cotswolds with my hubby to celebrate our wedding anniversary. After a stressful and upsetting time we both really need and deserve this break! Sorry for my lack of blogging lately but with recent events I've not been in the mood but now with Easter around the corner I will be baking lots of lovely treats, so watch this space! I know most of you will want to know how Ollie is doing, despite him having this merciless disease he is doing quite well, still eating and playful at times, just sleeping more than usual. I'd like to thank each and every one of you for all the beautiful and kind supportive words, they have been a great comfort. Below are some pics I took of him this week. See you all very soon and have a great weekend.
Love and hugs
Maria

ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry to read about your cat. I recently lost one to FIV and it hits just as hard as if it were a family member. Enjoy every second you have :)

He's an absolutely beautiful cat - such gorgeous colouring. Thanks for posting such lovely pictures.
ReplyDeleteMy 18 year old cat died on Sunday - I'm gutted. I think I'll have another, but probably a rescue cat, when the time is right. They're family, not just pets.

Hi Claire
ReplyDeleteA warm welcome to my blog! I'm sorry to hear about your cat passing. I totally agree our cats are not just pets, they are family. I have heard a few people say that getting another cat does help and maybe I might feel the same in time but for now I just want to concentrate and enjoy the time I have left with Ollie.
Big hugs going your way
Maria

He is such a little darling. It's heartbreaking that he has that terrible disease. You certainly deserve a break in the country.
